Help Niki kick cancer’s butt (and keep the lights on while she does)

Well, the news is in: Niki has officially been diagnosed with breast cancer, but if Nancy (her tumor) thought it picked an easy target, it clearly doesn’t know who it’s dealing with.

This isn’t her first rodeo with life throwing curveballs, but it is her first time needing chemo, surgery, and possibly developing superpowers (we’ll keep you posted).

Here’s the deal:

While Niki is bravely diving into treatment — think: surgeries, chemo, radiation, and a full calendar of appointments with people who make her pee in cups — she’s also out of work —which is where we come in.

Cancer is expensive. Like, “did that Advil just cost $78?” expensive. Insurance helps, but it doesn’t cover:

• Rent

• Groceries (turns out you still need to eat during chemo)

• Utilities (because fighting cancer in the dark is extra rude)

• Gas to get to appointments

• Anndddddd everything else not covered by insurance!

We’ve set a fundraising goal of $20,000 to cover what she needs during treatment — mainly so she can focus on healing, resting, and binge-watching bad TV instead of stressing about bills.

What you can do:

• Donate what you can (every $5 helps — even if it just covers parking at the hospital!)

• Send love, memes, and distractions. No unsolicited herbal remedies, please.
