She’s Got High Hopes Fund for Kalas

For those that know my sister, Justina, you know her life revolves around animals, not only her own squad, but also those mistreated and searching for a second chance.
She’d lay down her life for any of her beloved pets, in particular her little black dog (LBD) Kalas. If you know my sister, you know that’s not an overstatement. 
In the last 48 hours, Kalas has been diagnosed with Lyme disease, which for Kalas is far more serious than a traditional canine diagnosis of Lyme. Kalas also struggles with Addison’s disease, which causes deficient production of the adrenal gland hormones, cortisol and aldosterone. The combination of both Lyme and Addison’s has put our beloved Kal in kidney failure. 
Our LBD has been fighting for her life for the past 48-hours. She is currently on constant surveillance at Keystone Emergency Animal Hospital in hopes the consistency of IV fluids and meds can give her a chance of survival.
Seeing my sister’s heart break and sweet Kalas suffering is more than I can bear.
If I could take away the sadness and suffering, I’d do it in a second. Since that’s nearly impossible, all I can offer is some relief when it comes to assist in Kalas’ care.

That is why I am asking for your help.

Kalas’ around-the-clock care will cost Tina and Ted a couple thousand dollars for just the first day of hospital care.
