My mom is one of the most kind, selfless, and hardworking people I know. She has always been the person others can count on—whether it’s showing up for family, helping a friend, or giving even when she doesn’t have much herself.

Recently, our lives were turned upside down when she was diagnosed with stage 4 malignant melanoma. Since then, she has shown incredible strength and courage, but the journey ahead is not an easy one.

She now has to travel out of state for specialized treatment, which brings unexpected financial stress on top of everything we’re already facing. Between medical expenses, travel costs, and time away from work, it’s becoming overwhelming for our family.
