She’s a Barbie girl, in a fightin’ world…

Thank you for taking the time to visit this page. Our good friend Rachel went for her annual mammogram on 7/26/23, and on 8/1 after 3 biopsies, she was diagnosed with breast cancer (IDC) grade 2 stage 1 ER+/PR+, HER2-. After her diagnosis, Rachel had surgery on 8/22. In addition to the surgery, radiation or both radiation and chemo will be apart of the plan to ensure that all the cancer is gone!

When you think of Rachel, you think of generosity. Whether it be her annual Friendsgiving, her BBQs, or her ornament exchanges, friends and family create beautiful memories when Rachel brings everyone together. She will be turning 50 in October and she has been planning this milestone birthday for years, which will include a week on the beach in Jamaica. The goal is to have all treatment completed by her trip.

Although she has been blessed with a career that has helped to provide her a beautiful home for her and her five little fur babies, no one expects to be in a position that forces you to feel financially trapped with medical bills. Considering Rachel’s generosity towards everyone who comes into her life, we are asking for the generosity to be returned. We thank you for your support of Rachel and we cannot wait for her to receive a clean bill of health!
