My mother, just 69 years old, has been diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. The problem is that they are still unsure of where it all started. They're currently considering and looking into gastrointestinal cancer after already looking into lung, breast, and bones as the origins. In the meantime, the cancer has spread into her lung, shoulder, hip, and skull causing her to need even more tests done on top of beginning her radiation.
Throughout her life, she has been physically, mentally and verbally abused. She was abandoned by her father at a very young age and later lost her mother to breast cancer. Went through the struggle of losing a baby to SIDS, and unfortunate events continued to follow her. Shortly after her marriage to her second husband, the love of her life, she lost him to a heart attack.
All of this leaving her as a single mother of three, working two to three jobs at a time, doing whatever she had to do to support her family. She never took any help: no welfare, food stamps, or child support, but instead she always worked as hard as she possibly could to give them the best life possible.
Never complained or felt sorry for herself and she always carried a giant smile on her face and a positive attitude with her wherever she went. For being dealt such a horrible hand, she never failed to see the absolute best in everyone. Even helped raise three kids who lost their mother to cancer and weren’t her own, but made them feel as though they were.
She has already battled breast cancer 13 years ago and won that battle.
While being the grandmother of eight and a great-grandmother, she is such an inspiration to them all. She is truly one of the strongest and most caring woman you will ever meet.
After all this time of not asking anyone for anything and struggling financially, she could use a little bit of help to battle this horrible disease.
Any help would be greatly appreciated and all donations will help her pay for all the treatment and tests that she needs. Medical bills are already beginning to pile up and this would be such a blessing and a huge help.
Thank you in advance for any donations.
God Bless you all!
