Sherry's Village

In early 2020 Sherry was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. Anyone who knows Sherry knows she is the picture of optimism and her battle with cancer has been no different. Sherry has approached this battle with fierce determination and as challenges with treatment piled up, Sherry continued to be a beacon of light and courage to those around her. Sherry's greatest loves have always been her husband Phil and their son Cole.
Her son Cole was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder in his preschool years and continues to require supports to meet his full potential. Sherry loves Cole with every fibre of her being, she has always celebrated her wondrous boy, singing with him, laughing with him, and supporting him every step of the way. Sherry gave new meaning to the word "acceptance" as she journeyed through Autism, finding every possible gift and opportunity. She made friends for herself and Cole and celebrated each and every step with pride.
Sherry has been a humble leader in her Autism community; welcoming new families with open arms and supporting her village with a warm heart and positivity. Please help us to wrap our arms around Phil and Cole, the way Sherry has done for everyone who crossed her path.
