Operation save Sherry

Hi, my name is Sherry and I am 66 years old.  I have always cherished and thanked God for the good health He has blessed me with all through life.  I love to get outdoors and walk, bike, hike and do all those activities that bring us joy and let us see all the beautiful world God created for our pleasure.  After I retired I thought I would really get to enjoy doing all those things the more.

Well, that all changed in 2015 when in April I was diagnosed with melanoma of the right lower eyelid.  I had to go through surgery and skin graft to repair where the cancer had been.  I recovered well and it really doesn't look that bad.  In July the same year I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, my biggest fear.  I had had uterine cancer in its very early stage back in 2002 and had to have a hysterectomy.  I listened to my doctor who told me it would be beneficial to leave the ovaries and he meant well but it is something I have regretted ever since.

So I heard about a wonderful place in Newman, Ga. called Cancer Treatment Centers of America.  I truly feel God led me there.  I had a wonderful team of doctors and nurses that worked with me and there I started my six rounds of chemo.  In November I had to have surgery for debulking to remove lymph nodes to determine what stage the cancer was.  All tissue came back clear of any cancer so it was staged at 1.  So the chemo had done its job.

For sixteen months I remained cancer free and felt I was healed by God.  But, things happen for a reason and we don't always know what that is.  Only God knows and we have to trust Him.  I was just recently diagnosed again that my cancer was back and not only back but had spread throughout my abdomen and my liver.  Now at stage 4.  Now I've started again with chemo.  My immune system is so destroyed from the chemo before that I am so weak and can hardly get out of bed for 2 weeks after the chemo.  I want to do something to boost my immune system to get me through this and I have found and researched with the help of family and friends a place here in Knoxville who does the high dose Vitamin C IV which when given nourishes your body and even kills the cancer cells.  Unfortunately this is not covered by insurace and is very costly and has to be done twice a week.

I prayerfully ask if you would consider helping me on this journey to get back my healthy life.  A life I want God to use for His Glory; speaking out for Him to tell others there is a healer in Jesus; we just need to trust Him.  Any donations would be much appreciated.

May God truly bless each one of you.
