Hello, on March 30th my mom went to the ER for pneumonia and found out she has stage 4 renal cell carcinoma. Our whole world was turned upside down when they gave her one year to live without treatment. She isn’t one to go to the dr so she didn’t opt in for them to take out for Medicare when she signed up for social security and now she has to wait until January 2025 when they have open enrollment so now she is not only having to worry about the cancer but also how she is going to pay for her medical bills. Soon after her diagnosis, my father got terminated from his job because he needed to take her to her appointment. They have tried to get welfare to help with medical care but were denied. On top of that, on her way to treatment yesterday their only vehicle broke down. I feel helpless so if anyone can help we would be ever so grateful and even if you can’t if you can share it we would appreciate it. God Bless!! And prayers are always welcome!!!
