Thomas A. Sherrod was my father.
I’m comforted in knowing that my dad rests in peace, protected in the loving arms of our Lord, Jesus Christ. Dad was a quiet, soft-spoken man who’d once dreamed of becoming a minister. He loved to read the Bible and watch his favorite Christian shows. He couldn’t stand violence, not even in movies, and never like to be involved in confrontations. He proudly served his country, however, and was drafted into the Army during his second year at Talladega College.
It has been a difficult year, in terms of, both, our health and finances. If you would like to help me honor my father, by helping me raise the funds needed for his memorial service and other arrangements, I would appreciate your assistance.
