Hi, my name is Robyn Fowler and I am fundraising for my beautiful mother Sherri Corbin. 2 weeks ago my mother received the hardest news she’s ever had to hear! She was diagnosed with a VERY rare Auto Immune Disease called Scleroderma. As her daughter, it’s been the hardest thing for me to process and accept. She is mine and my families rock and my best friend. Anyone that has personally met my mom knows that she absolutely adores her grandkids. Her love radiates off of her, and smile lights up a room!
We are still early in the diagnosis and do not know what will happen in the weeks to come. My mother has a very long road ahead of her and many more obstacles to overcome! She is the strongest women I know and I believe with my whole heart she will come out of this even stronger! This fundraiser is going to help her in the coming weeks / months because she is having to take time off work for the safety of her health. The money will be going to any medical expenses as well as personal expenses due to her being off work. With this diagnosis, she is currently on transplant medication because the disease has attacked both of her lungs, meaning she may end up needing a double lung transplant. She is on 2 medications to help with the disease. One being a transplant medication and the other is a chemo medication. With that being said, both of these medication will knock her immune system to nothing! My mom has been a poker dealer for 15+ years, so she deals with the public in all aspects of her job. She absolutely loves her job and all of her work family, but her health has to take priority. She has a huge support group behind her, but we need all the help and support we can get during this very difficult time for our family! If you are unable to donate and are the praying type, my hope is to create a circle larger than life around her filled with prayer!
