Hello everyone it is with great sadness to be having to write this, my name is Anya and I am putting this GoFundMe together for my dad Sherman. As many know Dads health has taken a turn for the worst, on top of the dialysis we found out dad has abdominal cancer as well. He will be stopping dialysis on the 9th of September and the Drs. Believe when that happens we will have up to a week left with him. Anyone who knows Dad knows he is the life of the party and brings so much joy to those who had the pleasure of knowing him. His love for God and his family and friends who became family is undeniable! He has fought so hard to come back but God has different plans that none of us will know or understand the reason why. It is heartbreaking to know we will be loosing him so soon but as he tells me he will still always be with us may not be how we want him to be here with us but he will be there. I was asked to set this up now so when the time comes his family will not be worried about the funeral/memorial costs. Anything raised will be used towards his celebration of life party as he calls it. Or his coming home party. Sherman has touched so many and helped bring many to know Gods love and because he stands strong in his faith he is ready to go home as he says.
