My name is Justine, also known as SteenieMo online. My best friend, Jonathan aka Mallfaka online, and my adopted furry son, Sherman the dog, are going through a real rough patch. We need funds to cover the cost of the life saving surgery he needs!

Sherman woke up today, 2/12, with an extremely bloated stomach and showing signs of bloat. Jon and Sherman immediately rushed to the vet and myself and Zane, my partner, rushed there as well. It did end up turning out to be bloat, and we got there pretty early on. That being said, the actual cure for bloat or a twisted stomach is expensive and invasive. For those of you who don't know, bloat or gastric dilatation and volvulus (GDV) is very fast acting and very deadly. The stomach or intestines flip and twist causing gas to build and blood flow to be cut off, in most cases injuring the spleen as well. For a case as bad as Sherman, he needed life saving surgery to make sure he gets back to borking at motorcycles and cuddling with his other furry siblings.

The low estimate we got was $7,500. The high: $12,000. EDIT: we got the final tally of $7,623.60 so the total has been updated accordingly. Jon has had no real job since the pandemic hit and just went through surgery so he could get back to the work force. Before that, he dedicated most of his life as a manager of a pet store we shall not name (for now) and when he caught Covid from work, they used some shady tactics to loophole their way into firing him after he was released from the hospital. Which led to him not getting any of the unemployment pay he had earned over the 10 years of working there. He never asks for much and he is a fantastic person, we have raised over $2000 for charity the past year streaming together, and if he could he would give you the shirt off his back. He deserves to have his best friend and furry son to be taken care of, more than anything in the world. And we're going to help!

What you can do to help: donate if you are able to but most importantly SHARE, SHARE, SHARE!
Where are your funds going: 100% is going to Sherman's medical costs. That is all we want or need. We were able to have a guardian angel help with the deposit but of course that kindness needs to be paid back. If there is any extra all of it will go to Jonathan to help with any after care Sherman might need.

A note from Jonathan:
I hate having to do all this. Any amount contributed means so much to me. Sherman is my world. He's always at my side. We spend practically every moment together. Even these short hours it's been without him while he's in surgery is like I'm missing a limb. He's such a strong, smart boy and I love him with all my heart. He is full of love, care, and kindness. He's a big boy with an even bigger heart. He was so brave even at the vet. His tail was wagging and he was as affectionate as ever. I just want to see him wiggling and happy again after all this. Thank you so much for anything and everything you do. Even if all you can contribute is a positive thought, it's more than I could ever hope for.
