Sherman Rubin's Medical Expenses

Please help Sherman Rubin!
Sherman Rubin has been hospitalized in Thailand. He has some serious medical issues, is currently being feed by a feeding tube and he may need surgery to deal with kidney stones. He has no health insurance and in Thailand its pay as you stay and his hospital bill is about $600 a day. His sister Jackie who lives in the US has been depositing money into his account to cover his expenses but its difficult for her to continue paying. If payment is not made the hospital will discharge him.
I am starting this gofundme to try and help Sherman and ease the financial burden on his sister. All money will go to his sister who will then deposit any funds raised directly into Sherman's bank account in Thailand.
I have known Sherman for decades dating back to when he was a musician in Santa Fe.  He is very depressed at his situation and doesn't want to ask his friends for help and he will probably be angered at me for doing this but he is a wonderful guy and I want to help and I think knowing his friends care about him and want to help will ultimately be good for him.  Please help by contributing whatever you can.
