My sweet fluffy boy Sherlock Holmes recently had an accident and the tip of his tail was injured badly. He has now had a few inches of his poor little tail amputated. I feel so sick with guilt that this happened and worry for my "son". He hates the cone and doesn't like the medications he is on. He is such a good cat and doesn't deserve any of this.

With help from family I was able to pay for the immediate surgery. But I am at a loss on how to cover the cost. Money is a big struggle right now.

My fiancée and I are currently in the midst of moving and application fees and moving costs aren't cheap, she is already taking the burden of those. My job has been scheduling me 4-5 days a week but only for about 20 hours, every rare opportunity for a higher position I have applied for and have not gotten it. I commute the same amount I had been but with about half of the hours and pay. I am trying to find something more stable but in the meantime I am where I am.

I DO NOT like to ask for money, and I have never borrowed money I hadn't paid back, but I don't know what else to do in this situation.

If anyone could just donate a bit, whatever they can spare, it would mean the world to me and my Sherlock. If you can't donate at all just spreading the word would help too.
