Please join me in supporting Sherlese and her family. Sherlese is living with Multiple Sclerosis and Lupus and requires constant medical care and lives with daily pain. She's an amazing mom to two kids with special needs and has the world's most supportive husband. I’ve known Sherlese for many years. I was Mariah’s first OT before Devon was even born. From the moment I met this family I knew they were special. Life as thrown so much at them and they take it in stride with grace and often with laughter. Sherlese is a strong woman and would never ask for help herself…. But after years of giving everything of herself to everyone, it’s time that we take care of her. I recently had a long chat with Sherlese about her health and her current needs. We both shed some tears during the conversation. No one should have to endure the amount of pain that she deals with on a daily basis, but she does it for her kids. They are everything to her and she wants to enjoy every minute possible with them while she can. During our conversation we talked about some very practical things that would really make her life easier, but of course everything takes money. Sherlese and David moved their family from the Bay Area of California to Texas to help with finances, but unfortunately things are still tough and as her diseases progress will likely only get worse. Here are some current things that Sherlese can really benefit from and your small or large donation can help make things a little easier for her right now.

5) $75 railing to help get in and out of bed
