Life sometimes deals some very difficult choices. However, this one, although very difficult, is quite clear; it is fight, fight, and fight even harder. This is the only option for my daughter Sheri. Cancer is a tough thing for anyone to face particularly if you're just starting a new chapter of your life. 
Now a single parent of two, living alone, facing the challenges of a very demanding job, and so much uncertainty; Sheri just did not need one more challenge, but here it is. "Take the most aggressive approach" the doctors say, "You have so much life to live." They add, "Be strong and you will survive." She can do it all and her family is squarely behind this brave daughter of mine. The only missing element is that old and nasty obstacle of money. 
Don't misunderstand there are many who are giving as much as possible. However, it's not enough to keep Sheri from facing deep debt and financial barriers that will have a permanent impact on her future. This is the nightmare that frightens Sheri as much as the cancer itself. 
Surgery is here with the best-case scenario of upwards of eight weeks of follow-up treatment and years of vigilance. And, if chemo therapy is required the timeline becomes much more in question. She will get back to her job as soon as medically possible. But, the depth of this money-hole is an unknown. So, any financial help you can provide will be a blessing for this woman who has given so much to others in both her professional and private life.
