It’s been a journey for our friend, sister, and beautiful kindred spirit Sheri. She has endured pain that no one should have to face through the loss of her son “Phoosh” in 2018. The tough only continued from there as she struggled to take care of her mother, son, and herself all on her own.

Well, now Sheri needs us. On July 20th, Sheri went through a procedure to clear multiple aortic occlusions, basically meaning her body was nearly cut in half for the surgeons to reach the blockages severely disrupting the function of her extremities. Sher has been out of work since then only receiving disability that isn’t really cutting it for her and her family financially. Sher’s sister Teri spent many weeks with her to assist as she recovered but unfortunately exhausted all her extra resources and reserves and had to return to California to get back to work.

We are reaching out to all of you as a last-ditch effort to pull together some funds to help Sheri. Right now, her body needs a significant amount of rest, her mind and mental health need a great deal of work as she faces many extra pressures from the fear of losing her job, grief from the loss of her son, her body pushing out all of the medicines she received to get through recovery. All of this has caused Sher so much suffering including extensive anxiety, restlessness, and some depression.

Our hope through this campaign is to raise enough funds for Sher to stop worrying about the financial stuff and possibly have enough extra to seek out an intensive in-home therapist or tele-therapist to get her back in the right mindset. Sher has spent her entire life serving others and deserves to be able to focus on her mental and physical well-being enabling herself to get back to the Sher we all know and love so incredibly much!
