Hi, my name is Emily and I’m trying to raise money for my parents. A few weeks ago my sweet mom was diagnosed with lung cancer that they have deemed incurable. As we have been trying to process this news, my dad was also diagnosed today with cancer, that is going to require a pretty intensive surgery, radiation and recovery. My dad is currently out of work, and as you could imagine, this has put a pretty big financial strain.

All of their appointments are about an hour away, so there will be lots of travel, co pays, medical bills, along with every day living expenses. Watching my parents both go through this is something I don’t wish on anyone. I want to try to lift any ounce of stress I can from their shoulders.
