Shepherd hit in Blanchester! Needs Emergency Vet!
Donation protected
Hello! Here is the story about this poor pup!
12/7/23
Urgent! This dog was hit in Blanchester on St. Rt. 68 just past Second Creek Road.
I took the male Dutch Shepherd to Orchard Veterinary Clinic in Wilmington. Dog is in critical shape with a broken pelvis, leg and knee. I had X-rays done. Heart is healthy and strong. Dog is 2-3 years old and super healthy and behaved. Very affectionate as it kept laying its head in me and offering his paw as I drove.
Please pass the word everywhere.
I have til the clinic closes tonight to find the owner or it will be euthanized. Right now they’re giving him pain medication and fluids.
The dog absolutely can be saved but the cost is approximately $5k and will need to be transferred to a major veterinary hospital like OSU which I would do if I had the funds.
This dog according to the vet cost a good chunk of money to buy given it’s breed as a working dog. Many police officers use this breed of dog in the line of duty.
Please pray owner is located.
We have less than 5 hours to hopefully raise some money for this poor puppy to be saved! Please HELP and save this poor baby life!!
