Shenell’s fight: Cervical Cancer while Pregnant

Hello, my name is Shenell Marie Hardin, 

I am starting a fundraiser for myself and family. I am currently 26 weeks pregnant and was recently diagnosed with cervical cancer. I have been undergoing chemotherapy treatment for the past 4 months. 

Unfortunately as a result of having to go to such frequent doctors visits and be in the hospital for chemotherapy treatment, I have not been able to work nor properly prepare for baby Jaxon. unemployment has also denied my claims due to my diagnosis not being a “valid reason”to receive help.

Most recently doctors have found from my MRI that was taken Sunday April 3rd that the cancer is spreading and we now have to move my due date up. This places my baby boy at more risk.

 This journey has been a very trying time for me mentally and emotionally. There is so much to be done and not enough time. Baby Jaxon will be here in 2 weeks and will be in the NICU fighting for his life at 1lb and 11oz.

More about me, I am a mother of two boys Jayce 6 years and Jay 4 years. I am an Alverno Alumni class of 2013. More recently I am a newlywed to my husband Jayland Hardin. We were married August of 2021 and suddenly received this grave news.

We have been making it the best we can with savings but would be most grateful to all those that are able to donate.
