Back home in Cyprus, people live with limited opportunities. Government support is limited to not only people but other living creatures. Stray animals -mainly dogs and cats- are not a rare sight in Cyprus and they struggle finding a way to survive. Though the issue may be too large for an individual to take care of, it does not mean that a collective effort won’t lead to a positive change. 


With Cyprus enduring harsh conditions of hot weather and lack of vegetation, it is nearly impossible for these stray animals to survive on their own. 


My mother has been caring for a large group of stray animals consisting of about 40+ cats and 20+ dogs. For any pet owners out there, I am sure you understand the responsibility and financial commitment it takes to care for just one pet. Unfortunately my mother is slowly approaching the end of her funds to look out for these animals and may soon have to abandon the care she provides them. This is a desperate attempt to find some help to care for these animals for a little longer just until my mother can acquire another form of income to help these animals into the foreseeable future.
