For the last 5 years, we have poured every single thing we have & could into Shelter Salon. It’s hard to imagine that on Tuesday, we will not walk back through the front door ready to not “just do hair” but be there for our clients & community in their time of need. We all know salons can be a sanctuary and hairstylists can provide a therapeutic sense to most people, but our guests do the same in return for us. The connections and relationships we’ve built with our guests over the years are that of a family. Not just from the neighborhood but from all over VA. Short Pump to Georgetown... Varina to Hanover... Powhatan and beyond... We are extremely fortunate to have had such great success over the years. Unfortunately the future is uncertain due to Covid-19. Please consider a donation if you can, and only IF you can, to help us support our staff and expenses during this time!
