Shelter Kits for Local Shelters in Ukraine
Donation protected
With people in Ukraine continuing to suffer from constant Russian bomb shellings and drone attacks, they are forced to seek shelter when the air raid sirens go off. This can happen at any time of the day, or night. The shelters are not equipped with medical equipment or necessities, and citizens may need to stay in the shelters for hours at a time. Our project aims to equip these shelters with shelter kits. The kits will include First Aid kits, pain medicines, emergency blankets, and hygiene products for women. Our goal is to assemble and deliver at least ten shelter kits to Valeria’s hometown Irpin, which was under occupation and suffered 70% destruction. We are currently in contact with the Ukranian and Norwegian Red Cross to implement our project.
The funds will be used as follows for 10 kits:
IPAK First Aid Kit: $310
Ibuprofen: $49.50
Tampons: $24.70
Pads: $101.60
Emergency Wool Blankets: $345.30
Soap: $27.20
Flashlights: $28.33
Shipping: $144.97
