Jerry & Shirley are dear friends of mine that I have known for many years.  Jerry helps teach Sunday School to 2nd-3rd Graders at our church (where my husband is the pastor).  Shirley always welcomes everyone with a smile on her face and helps pray for people at the end of service every week, and volunteers in the church bookstore.  During his free time, Jerry is part of a ministry where he meets with people from the local jail and ministers to them.  These are some of the two most loving and selfless people I have ever met, and I feel so honored to be considered their friend. 

Hurricane Michael mostly destroyed their mobile home in Panama City.  It was over 40 years old and no one would insure it, so it is a total loss.  Their home is behind this tree.


They are currently living in the one room left but conditions are grim and they need to get something else soon. They have been approved for an SBA loan for a new home, but are a bit overwhelmed at having a mortgage this late in life, and they are unsure of soon this will happen...  I would love to help them get money to pay towards their new mortgage, as well as all of the other expenses that they are looking at, so thank you in advance for anything you can do!
