First: friends, thank you so very much for all you've done to help us stay in livable conditions this last month. That's the good news.

By now, though, we have less than $350 left to live on. That's less than one week left before we'll need to leave our small Travelodge unit, and find a place on the street to live. Because I've been disabled for four years, needing a wheelchair for physical support, I know I won't be able to live much longer in those conditions.

David has worked himself to the bone to help us, twice visiting the Orange County Rescue Mission for leads for transitional housing for us. So far, there's no available place for us, a couple in our early 60s.

We've lived on frozen meals these last two months, including Banquet dinners for s1.99 each. His lunches are $1;ramen noodles.

We'd dearly appreciate any amount you can offer us. Even a donation of $15 or $20 is desperately needed.
