Due to an unexpected tragedy, the Hilliard family—a loving mother and her young daughter—were forced to leave their home in California with little notice. With no time to prepare, they could only take a few items as they urgently relocated to Arizona in search of safety and affordability.

Ms. Hilliard has been a stay-at-home mom for nearly two years, dedicating herself to raising her first child. When tragedy struck, their entire world changed overnight. They are now starting over from nothing and need help securing housing, meeting basic needs, and rebuilding stability while Ms. Hilliard works to find employment.
