Shelly's Son Mason: A Heartfelt Farewell

I was asked to make this post on behalf of a dear friend and colleague. Many of us have worked with Shelly over the years, and she has saved us and kept us safe in a million different ways. She has always fought tirelessly for the women and children in her community, and now she needs our help.

Her sweet son Mason was born 10 weeks premature with heart issues that would require surgery once he was big enough. After seven long months in the NICU, he was finally able to go home to await his surgery. Unfortunately after one month at home, he became symptomatic (quickly identified by his parents) but passed away shortly after his return to the hospital. He was so loved during his short time here ❤️

In this time of grieving, the funeral home has told them a service and burial will cost $8,000. This is in addition to the mountain of medical bills they have
