As most of you know, Shelly has been diagnosed with breast cancer last summer. She has already did chemo before she had to undergo surgery to shrink the size of the mass. She just had surgery on February 9,2021 and is still sore and healing. She has to travel to Putnam, Norwich and Old Lyme for all her appointments several times a week.
This is her update today 3/4/21..not what I was hoping. Met my radiologist yesterday, she's amazing like all my other docs. Radiation will start in about 4 weeks and will last 7 weeks. She is waiting on my expanders to be done. So I have to go to Old Lyme twice a week to finish that. Was also told that I have to go thru chemo again too. That part I didn't want to hear. I see my Oncologist today, so I will let you know more this afternoon!!
Due to all the traveling she has to do-up to 5xs soon, and has to have someone take her due to not being able to drive with the expanders in--the cost of gas is crazy for her suv!! I was given permission from shelly to put up a go fund me page as she would never ask anyone to give anything to her. She always tries to do it herself--its the stubbornness with all of us in this family.
All I am asking is if you can donate anything to help her out with filling her gas tank up, buying medications, paying any medical bills, buying groceries, or anything her 2 teenage daughters may need. She is not able to work so $ is tight. Please feel free to donate on here or u can send it to her directly.
