My name is Leanne Jacobs and my heart is full of gratitude to be supporting my dear friend and colleague Shelly Boudah with her healing journey. I have had the gift of knowing and loving Shelly for many decades- we grew up in the same town of Burlington, Ontario, went to high school together, and had the opportunity to partner together in business for almost 20 years.
This year, I made a commitment to begin raising funds specifically for Women who are navigating challenging times or may lack financial resources to pursue the most authentic and aligned path for them in health, life or business. This fund will be called The Beautiful Money Fund and will support Women navigating health journeys, personal journeys or business journeys that require a specific allocation of financial resources. The vision for this fund is to support 1,000,000 Women around the globe with the financial resources they need to thrive in health, life, and business. Today, we are starting this fund journey by supporting one extraordinary Woman and our very first recipient- Shelly Boudah. The funds raised through this campaign will cover the basic cost of her cancer treatment program at Sanoviv Medical Institute
SHELLY'S DIAGNOSIS:
If you know Shelly, you know that she is one who always shows up for others, serves with her whole heart, and spends her days lifting others up (even on her most challenging days). Today, Shelly needs her community for an uplift.
Over the past year, many of you have followed Shelly's journey and her commitment to supporting her body in a holistic and integrative way. Behind the scenes, she has also been quietly and consistently seeking care from a wide range of both traditional and integrative healthcare professionals.
Since early spring, she has been consulting with many different practitioners, and more recently, she has been under the care of Princess Margaret Hospital, where she has been undergoing extensive testing and evaluation.
Through this process, she received a diagnosis of Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer.
Because of the biology of her tumour, three of four treatments typically offered in Canada (chemotherapy, radiation and surgery) are not feasible or applicable options for her case. Her tumour type does not respond to chemotherapy. The size of her tumour also prevents her from being a candidate for surgery. Without surgery, radiation is not indicated. These factors leave Shelly with one option of hormonal therapy, which she has started with Princess Margaret Hospital.
Shelly's doctors have also shared that the tools available within the traditional medical system cannot offer a curative outcome for her particular cancer type. This is reflective of current options in Canada and not the possibilities of a true healing journey for her. Shelly does not live from a space of fear and only lives from a space of absolute possibility for healing. She continues forward with deep trust, courage and clarity.
WHY SANOVIV IS SHELLY'S BEST NEXT STEP:
After extensive research and a medical consultation, Shelly has been accepted into a three-week integrative cancer treatment program at Sanoviv Medical Institute, a world renound and first of its kind medical facility offering medical approaches not available within the Canadian System. Sanoviv's physicians specialize in tailoring treatment plans for complex cases like hers, and use advanced integrative therapies, metabolic medicine and comprehensive whole-body protocols designed to optimize healing.
This approach harmoniously aligns with Shelly's medical needs and her unwavering belief in her body's ability to heal.
Sanoviv has a spot for Shelly as early as late December, and she is preparing to begin treatment as soon as possible.
The fundraising financial goal of this campaign is specifically to cover the basic cost of this program.
WHY ARE WE COMMITTED TO RAISING FUNDS FOR SHELLY?
Shelly does have critical illness insurance that will help cover a portion of the medical program at Sanoviv Medical Institute. That being said, the cost of this program is $45,000 USD (not including travel or companion care while she is there).
Shelly requires $10,000 in medical support, testing and preparative treatments, prior to leaving for Sanoviv.
Shelly will also need extensive integrative treatment, therapies, supplements, and follow-up care when she returns home from Sanoviv. These costs are not covered by insurance and can be substantial.
This fundraiser is designed to help bridge these gaps so that Shelly can focus entirely on her healing without the added stress of financial burden.
Shelly has been actively exploring options to take this path since early 2025, however, the financial costs were the only limitations to accepting this treatment earlier. Here is where we can support Shelly get the medical care as early as December 2025 so she can start the most advanced and optimal treatment for her cancer type.
