Shelly's Brain Tumour Battle

My name is Trisha Greavy and I'm from County Mayo. In October last my sister Michelle Greavy was diagnosed with a Cancerous Brain Tumour after loosing a baby.  She soldiered through brain surgery the week before Christmas and although it hadn't gone as well as expected she still didn't let it bring her down and has now began treatment with even more fight Her strength , courage and positivity amazes us everyday and we are so incredibly proud of her... she's truly an inspiration to us all ❤️

On Sunday 5th May a group of Shellys family and friends will be taking part the West of Ireland Mini-Marathon in honour and solidarity for Shelly and to show our support that we are with her every step of the way through her battle..We will be raising money for Mayo Cancer Support ,which provides emotional support to Cancer Patients and their families in their main Cancer Support Centre, Rock Rose House, Castlebar and their outreach services in Ballina and Achill. All support Services are provided free of charge to anyone affected by a Cancer Diagnosis including patients, family members and friends. The organisation provides a range of support services including a Drop-In Centre, Professional Counselling, Therapies includes Massage, Reflexology, Bio-Energy, Group Therapies including Mindfulness, Creative Writing, Art Therapy, Tai Chi, Yoga, Support Group, Information Talks and Bereavement Support. All the funds we raise through this campaign will go directly to these services to help so many people affected by a Cancer Diagnosis. The more money we raise the bigger the impact and your support will be truly appreciated. Once the campaign has ended we will withdraw the funds and present them to Mayo Cancer Support.  Thank you
