Hi, Our names are Nancy Stewart, Teri McLaughlin, Tammy Willis, Karin Whitbeck and Jennifer Calenda. We are starting this GoFund me page to help someone special in our community. Shelly Roath is a hard working pleasant manager at Vic's Pizza in Turtle Crossing on Burnt Store Rd. She is a single mother of 3 girls, ages 15, 8 and 6, and she needs our help. We know that everyone has been affected by Covid in some way and these can be hard times for some more than others. Shelly's income was significantly reduced as the restaurant business experienced sever decline due to covid, which resulted in her depleting her financial resources.
Due to the housing market, Shelly's landlord has decided to sell the home she has been renting for the past 5 years. She was given a 30 day notice on October 1 to vacate their home. She has been actively looking for a home that she can afford and to accomodate her beautiful family, but has had no success! She has to be out by November 1 . That is only12 days away!!!

With the cost of living expenses and what it takes to get into a new home (first, last, security, utility deposits), she has been unsuccessful in this endeavor. Not to mention the scarcity of rentals in our area. Shelly would love to stay in our community so that she can continue working for Vic's Pizza and so her girls won't have to change schools, friends and their routines during this difficult time in our nation today.
We are asking for donations to help her and her family secure a home by the end of this month. Any amount will help and we all would be appreciative of whatever you can do for them.
Their need is very very URGENT!!!
