Shelly Nelson Memorial #FinishStrong

To all of our dear family and friends.

We are overwhelmed by the outpouring of love, prayers and support for our Shelly after her tragic car accident on Monday night.

She would be completely astonished by your flood of emotions, love and adoration because she never saw herself as we’ve all seen her.  Her pure bright light of kindness, her big joyous smile, her thoughtfulness and always putting others first, her outgoing nature and desire for fun, her peace-making, her silliness, her dedicated work ethic, her successes, her willingness to go with the flow and enjoy where life takes her.

All are her trademark…the Shelly that we all adore.

We want to celebrate her life in a meaningful way and the past 24 hours have been more than we ever thought we could handle.

We will celebrate her by creating a strong future for her boys and we will develop a legacy that Shelly will be proud of with a foundation in her name to support the awareness and importance of behavioral health in the hospitality industry to allow all to be able to #FinishStrong.

Shelly has already started that legacy with her organ donations to two recipients in need of kidneys and other tissue donations. She’s left us in the way she only knew how to do, by giving her all to others.
