Shelly needs our Support and Prayers

Shelly Hosmer was recently diagnosed with Stage IV Colon Cancer that has metastasized to her Lungs and Brain. Shelly has chosen to have her medical care from a group of very knowledgeable Doctors and Nurses at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Shelly's husband Brad and son Bret have been by her side supporting her through this life changing time for all of them.
Shelly is a very selfless person, always putting others before herself. She has taken in and claimed many of Bret's firends as her own, making sure they have the quality of life that she provides to her own family. Shelly drove a school bus for many years for Holton Public Schools. This enabled her to build many bonds with students and the community alike. Many people know her for her Pink Bus, and awsome Special Edibles Tacos. Shelly attends all of her son's sporting events, and you always know where she is sitting by her loud screams of support. Shelly is a very proud and private person who doesn't want anything in life to be about her, even her cancer.
As Shelly begins traveling this long road, the many costs associated with it (medical bills, travel expenses, gas, hotels, etc) will surely pile up fast. Shelly needs to focus on her health and treatment. Brad and Bret need to be by her side supporting her, not worrying about the expenses associated with this journey. As a supportive community, it is our time to rally to give back to Shelly and her family to help with this financial burden. Any financial assistance is appreciated, whether it is monetary donations, gas cards, or cards for groceries. Together, let's all lift Shelly and her family up and show them our love and support. #cancersucks
