IT’S A SHELLABRATION!

Shelly Forquer has let us know she is officially retiring after 37 years of loyal and dedicated service to our pilots and the airline.

Shelly began her airline career in Crew Scheduling and quickly grew her knowledge and understanding of all things crew and the operation. These skills served Shelly well as she grew on to the Flight department in August of 2001, taking a position as the Administrator at DFW. Since then, Shelly has positively impacted more than twenty-five thousand pilots on their journey. She was promoted to Manager DFW Flight Administration in 2012 and since that time, Shelly is credited with mentoring and developing hundreds of administration professionals across the network with warmth, kindness and friendship. She holds a dear and special place in the heart of all pilot leaders from yesterday through today’s Directors and Chief Pilots as a trusted and valued peer. Shelly was nominated by her Flight family and awarded the Chairman’s Award in 2022. She is a treasured colleague and friend to all.

Shelly is with us through the end of June. Please drop by the D Terminal Flight Office at DFW to say farewell in person, share a memory and wish Shelly a bon voyage.
