Shelli’s end of life expenses

On Wednesday, December 14, 2022, Shelli Ann Leibin, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and loving friend, passed away. She was 62. Shelli was born and raised in Cheyenne, Wyoming. She graduated from Central High School and later attended the University of Northern Colorado and worked for many years as a paralegal. The times she cherished most in life were the years she spent raising her children, those of her own as well as those she welcomed into her home and family. She was known around the neighborhood as “Mayor Momma” for always keeping close tabs on her many loved neighbors and friends.

Shelli had a very close faith in God and enjoyed reading her bible and listening to Christian music. Her favorite pastime was watching Nascar every Sunday and Dale Earheart, Jr. #88 was her favorite driver. Shelli developed a love for all sports through her Dad’s time as a Western Athletic Conference referee. She especially enjoyed watching the Duke Blue Devils play college basketball, and her favorite NFL team the New Orleans Saints beat any team. Shelli was always known to have flashy jewelry and never went a day without her bracelets and many necklaces on. She was known to accessorize! Shelli’s favorite outfits were her pj’s at home but when she went out somewhere she had to be dressed to the nines and always wore her favorite perfume.

Shelli had an exceptional sense of style that paired well with her beauty which caught the eye of the love of her life John P. Leibin, Jr. They married in 1982 in Cheyenne and welcomed their only son Cameron into the world in 1990. John also had two children, Janet Walker and Jason Leibin, from his previous marriage who Shelli loved as her own. Shelli is preceded in death by her parents LeRoy and Joan Snow and her husband John. True to form, Shelli defined family by more than blood and was also preceded by members of her chosen family - her best friend Candice Runge and her sons Josh Olson and Ignacio Quintana, Jr.

She is survived by her son Cameron Leibin and his significant other Rhiannon Woodworth; daughter Janet Walker (Nathan), their children, Fianna, Aiden, and Riley; son Jason Leibin (Jennifer) and their children, J.D. and Jamison; her brother Bill Snow (Stephanie) and their children Bryce and Emma; and Rhiannon’s son and Shelli’s cookie partner in crime, Preston as well as her soon-to-arrive granddaughter Evelyn. She is also survived by her lifelong friend Patty Ford, dear friend Barbra Diehl and her beloved Frenchie rescue dog, Tilly WIlly..

The family is planning a service in the near future, likely in Cheyenne, and will announce it as soon as possible for friends and family to make accommodations.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Shelli’s name to the Lupus Foundation of America or to the Rocky Mountain French Bulldog Rescue.
