Shelli Wilson

As many of you may have noticed Shelli has not been at The Tam or Arnold's Tavern in almost 2 weeks. On Sunday February 11th she was taken to the Emergency Room because she didn't feel well. Around 1:00am on February 12th the doctors decided to admit her because she was very ill. After multiple scans and a lot of blood work they found a serious bacterial infection in her abdomen. They inserted a drain which started to work but after the first couple of days the amount of drainage increased. The doctors became very concern because that should not happen unless something else was going on. After yet another scan they found a tear in her intestines. On Monday February 19th they completed a surgery to take care of the tear.

Shelli has had a few set back in the past couple of days which included blood clots in her legs & lungs & being transferred to the ICU. She will remain in the hospital for longer than we hoped. Once she is released she will need to stay home for a few weeks before she can return to light duty work.

Any donations that are raised are greatly appreciated since Shelli currently does not have health insurance and will be off of work for a while longer. All funds raised with go directly to medical & other expenses until she can return to work.

Shelli cannot wait to get back to a normal routine & see you all again!!

Update from her family:

Unfortunately yesterday’s test results were not in Shelli’s favor and as of 6:00 pm last night she was placed in Comfort Care. We’ve been with her throughout the night and will remain by her side till the end. Please Keep her in your Prayers.
