Our close friend Shelley sadly lost her partner, Jim, suddenly on 2nd March. They had been together for 12 loving years. Shelley is a full-time carer for her elderly and bed bound mum. Jim was unable to work due to ill health. Both Shelley and Jim have lived on minimal benefits for several years with no opportunity to save. The immediate and long-term expenses, from a cremation to every day living costs, are very daunting for Shelley at this already stressful time.

As her friends, we have set up this page to help make life just a little bit easier for Shelley, but our support alone won’t be enough to provide the financial help she needs. If you are able to spare anything for our friend during this difficult time, we would be massively grateful.
