On Sunday 12th April at 3.00 p.m. Year 11 boys from Shelley College, Huddersfield will come together to play a charity football match.
The teams will be Kirkburton Middle School v Scissett Middle School (former students). All the players are the best of friends, but on the day will become arch rivals to raise as much money as possible for Andy’s Man Club.
Emley AFC have kindly agreed to host the event. The bar will be open and hot food will be available to purchase. Entry is £1 per person on the gate and cash or card can be used. We have also invited some special guests who will be around on the day.
The match will be held at the Fantastic Media Welfare Ground, off Upper Lane, Emley, HD8 9RE gates open at 1.00 p.m.
Everyone is welcome and we look forward to seeing you there! The question is - who will you support?
This is the second fundraising event I have organised. Last July we held a really successful Charity Students v Teachers Cricket Match which raised £1000 for Andy’s Man Club. We would love to match that amount again.
Any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
Thank you also for taking the time to read my story.
