"This will be a short post, as I don’t post much on Facebook. 4 weeks ago, my mother was diagnosed for a 3rd time with Cancer. Stage 4 bone cancer, and she was given 2 months to live. We are all in shock, but now we are on a journey to find answers, solutions, different opinions, and options. She’s a fighter and always has been, and will fight to the very end. Now, she has lost her home that was completely demolished by hurricane Laura. Thankfully she is with me and is safe. She has lost much in her lifetime, but has never lost hope! Count your blessing everyone. I pray for all of my family and friends who have lost so much".

Our goal is to assist in making things as easy as possible for Michelle as she battles this journey. 

Those of us near and far read the post above and instantly our hearts sank, because we all know how amazing of a woman Michelle is and we all love Jake very much. We're collecting monetary donations to help offset the cost of all that she is dealing with right now.  Michelle is one of the strongest woman I've ever met. I was fortunate to spend the last week with her and I recall the one word she reminded me that we all need in life and that is HOPE! I hope we can all  pull together and help Michelle through this journey she is now facing, I want her to know that she isn't alone and we're all here for her.  We all know she will come out stronger.
