Hello, my name is Sheldon Snyder. I have a genetic disease called Leber's hereditary optic neuropathy Plus, and I will be leaving sometime between July and August to walk to Canada from Texas! The date is dependent on a few more doctor appointments!

This GoFundMe is to help acquire the tech to post videos and record the walk, as well as equipment like camping gear. It will also keep me afloat during this prep period! Once the walk starts, I will be posting daily videos talking and staying with strangers and raising awareness of the importance of understanding the mitochondria and how this benefits everyone! I also have another GoFundMe where I will dedicate 50% to the community once the walk starts! Other 50% will go to my journey with the disease.
