“To lose someone you love
is to alter your life forever..
The pain stops, there are new
people, but the gap never closes..
This hole in your heart is the
shape of the one you lost -
no one else can fit it.”
~ Jeanette Winterson
If you knew Sheldon, you know what a kind, caring, generous person he was. Always there for his family and friends, offering help without pause or hesitation and never expecting anything in return. Quiet and reserved on the outside, but quick and witty at the same time.
He kept his struggle with addiction and depression internal, no doubt in an effort to shield his family from the pain. That pain ultimately becoming too much for him to bear. His sudden and tragic death has left a void in the lives of those that loved him. His loving wife, Amanda, and four children, Shannon, Aubree, Roslyn, Aydon are mourning the loss and trying to imagine a life without the husband and father who has been the anchor for them.
Through this effort, we hope to offer financial support to Sheldon’s family so they can focus on grieving, mourning, and ultimately celebrating a life taken too soon.
