Hi my name is Toni I would like to introduce you to a great friend of ours Sheldon Johnson. Sheldon graduated from Fort Walton Beach high school in 1988. He is a native of Fort Walton Beach and has been a fixture in the restaurant scene for years. Sheldon then moved on to the insurance adjusting business, he worked with Worley Catastrophe (Alacrity solutions) for 16 years in which he has met and helped many people to further their career. Sheldon has been diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver in March 2022 since then he has been referred to the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville for an evaluation of a liver transplant

This is proving to be a difficult journey. He has been overwhelmed since his doctors diagnosis he is trying everything humanly possible to get the best care and assistance. The best chapters of his life are still ahead that are being completely stripped away and replaced with pain and anguish.

Since March his cirrhosis has unfortunately included ascites and inflammation of the varices in the esophagus. His family is trying everything in their power to provide assistance to gather as many funds, information and resources as quickly as possible to shed hope and positivity on his situation.

The overwhelming cost of overdue bills and current cost of medical bills and expenses are piling up. The referral to the mayo clinic requires 10 days in Jacksonville as an outpatient with a caregiver to start the process. Cirrhosis of the liver is not curable and will require a lot of attention before during and after the procedure. He has never wanted to ask for financial help, but he finds no other option. This go fund me campaign has been set up to help support our beloved Sheldon‘s transportation, medical and personal care needs as he continues his fight to beat this life-threatening disease and receive a liver transplant.
