I was recently diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer, and my world has changed in ways I never expected. On top of facing this diagnosis, my job lost its funding due to the Big Beautiful Bill. I had been receiving unemployment, but unfortunately, you cannot collect if you are unable to work. With surgery scheduled for this Thursday, I am preparing for at least eight weeks of recovery without any income. It’s a scary and uncertain time, and I am doing my best to stay hopeful and strong.

The funds raised here will go directly toward my most urgent needs: keeping a roof over my head, putting food on the table, covering my car expenses, and making sure my utilities stay on. Every bit of support will help me focus on healing without the added stress of financial hardship. I know that closed mouths do not get fed, so I am reaching out to my community for help.
