Shelby's GoFundMe 2: Bladder Cancer Boogaloo

Hi guys!

I'm Shelby. As I assume that most of you know by now, I am receiving treatment for bladder cancer. I have a lot of chemotherapy ahead of me along with radiation therapy after that.

I've been on this journey now since September. Sadly, while I have fantastic insurance and other benefits that have afforded me the opportunity to receive the best care possible, the costs that do come to me are still pretty great. And, I've blown through all of my PTO at work. Moving into this next phase, I'll be forced to miss a lot more work, as well.

I also have a move coming up in the next couple of months. My plan, initially, was to save up for a few months while living with my mother to be able to take care of that move, but the missed work and lack of PTO resulted in me not being able to save as much as I had hoped. Barely anything, to be honest.

So while my pride stings for having to do this, I'm here. Turning to you for help. I need it right now.

Any money donated to this fund will be put towards medical bills and/or my upcoming move. I know that it's the holidays and that times are really rough for everyone, so most won't have much, if anything, to share. But every bit will help, and even if you can't donate, if you can share this on to people you know, maybe I can reach the intended goal and not be struggling for everything. That's the hope at least. I admit that my current goal is, realistically, probably even a bit too conservative. But like I said, my pride stings, so this is where I'm at.
