Shelby's broken jaw surgery.
Donation protected
Hi I'm Petra and My husband Dee and I'm fundraising for Shelby. A beautiful grey, 2 year old, gorgeous long haired cat who came to our door as a stray late last year. To be honest I think one of our cats, Nigel, encouraged him to come to us, he knew Shelby would get fed.
He was a sorry sight when he first arrived, thin, mattered and scared. But we managed to feed him up, but he wasn't ours, and we already have four cats of our own. Shelby decided he wanted the outdoor life and never showed any interest if being " domesticated".
Then in January he went missing.
Roll on to March and he staggered back to our door thin, mattered and unable to eat properly. We think he had a broken jaw.
We phoned the RSPCA who said take him to the vets. So we did.
They where unhelpful, didn't do anything for him and despite the owner agreeing he could come to us. The Vets where very unhelpful and palmed him off to an already over capacity rescue centre.
After four hours of frantic telephone calls we found him - and the bill for the surgery to reset his jaw.
Both my husband and I are disabled, we can't raise that much so my only hope to bring this gorgeous boy home is the kind hearts of strangers.
Please please please I know live is hard with all the bills going up, but please help our Shelby home.
