Shelby Wertsbaugh Flood Relief
In the midnight hours of March 27th, Shelbys street was struck by flash flooding. With four feet of water rushing into her house, we are all grateful that Shelby was not there at the time- and her and her pup were safe from bodily harm. Others in her neighborhood were not so fortunate, the flood claiming the lives of seven.
However, the damage is immense. She has lost all her furniture, her small business vehicle, lawnmowers, appliances, her place to live, her livelihood, everything. There is little that can be salvaged.
If you have ever met her you know she is the first to offer help to strangers, and the last to ask for it.
Shelby runs and owns a small grip and electric company, and her equipment and her work van were both lost to the flood. This means Shelby will have to be sorting new living arrangements without income, while having to handle a thousand other things that come with this kind of disaster. She has some insurance, but not it will not cover nearly enough.
Please send prayers at this time, as well as anything you can spare. This is going to be a very long, very expensive road for her to get back on her feet.
Please share the link and send some encouragement, too.
