Hi, my name is Jamie Jacobus. On Sunday, March 3rd, my sister Shelby passed away. Shelby was an amazingly complicated woman, filled to the brim with love, sass, humor, and havoc. Shelby loved music, art, crocheting, fishing, wandering through the woods, and her very sassy cat, Ruby; and even more so, her friends, and her family.

Shelby loved children, and enjoyed spending time creating crafts and getting into trouble with her nieces and nephews.

In a sense, Shelby was very much like a child herself, she could be stubborn and persistent if she didn't get her way, but her creativity overflowed as if there was no end to her dreams.

Shelby faced many hardships in life, the loss of her fiancé, the loss of her nephew, the loss of our father, and our mother, and greatly battled every day with mental health. None of these losses or battles ever stopped Shelby from fighting for those she loved, or from loving as true and deep as she did.

Shelby is survived by her two sisters, Jamie Jacobus and Kristen Guimmarra, her aunts and uncles, and many nieces and nephews.

This fundraiser is to cover the cost of Cremation expenses, and other costs of handling end of life arrangements.

I thank all of you, for taking the time to read, to know a little about my sister, and thereby creating a memory in which she lives on.
