- Hi, my name is Shelby Brown. As many of you know, Tyler Pilgrim and I were blessed with being told we were pregnant. We were (are) excited as you can imagine. After several weeks of doctors visit we were told our precious little girl has severe birth complications (CDH) congenital diaphragmatic hernia, among other issues. After seeing several doctors whom had no clue of what and how to help us, we were referred to Lebonheur Childrens Hospital. After a couple of weeks and several visits, we were approached with the decision of Comfort Care or giving birth out of state at a hospital better equipped to handle and meet our needs. As you can image the decision was stressful, but extremely easy. This led us to the journey we are on now. Tyler and myself decided to do what was absolutely best for our little girl, no matter the stress on us. We loaded up and headed to John Hopkins All Childrens Hospital in St. Petersburg Florida where they specialize in cases like ours. Our journey here will be long and not an easy one. I will be here for quite some time. Tyler will be traveling back and forth as needed. With this said, please consider helping me and my new family. If you can find a few dollars to spare i promise you it will greatly appreciated. If you are not able to donate we understand, all we ask is for you to continue to say a prayer for us.
