Shelby.... 'Life through my eyes'

Shelby was a vibrant, independent, funny, articulate and hard working young lady until she was found unconscious, unresponsive and gravely ill. She had sustained a life changing hypoxic brain injury and has been treated for a complex stroke. She spent 9 weeks in the local hospital, the  first 5 in a coma and fighting for her life. She is now in a rehabilitation unit receiving specialist care. Shelby is currently unable to communicate, eat, drink or walk and we are unsure of what the future holds. We would like to raise money for sensory equipment and to go towards a computerised communication board eventually for her. We may never e hear her voice again but we would like to give her the opportunity to communicate.
