Shelbey’s Chiari Malformation Journey

Hi my name is Shelbey in July of 2021 I was diagnosed with Chiari Malformation which effects my brain with swelling a too much spinal fluid on my brian. I am 24 y.o. I recently got married just a month before my diagnosis. I have always been fairly healthy until this. Out of nowhere I woke up with confusion and loss of memory I didn’t know who I was or anyone for that matter. I have slurred speech, motor skill issues, loss of memory, eye issues, and have been to many neurologists, mris cts and finally was diagnosed with Chiari Malformation I am unable to work due to my condition I am ruled disabled and my husband can only work odd jobs due to me needing constant care. Recently I went to a new neurologist who said I need surgery due to this my husband is unable

to work at all and we have many medical bills, utility bills, gas for the vehicle due to many upcoming appointments I wouldn’t normally wouldn’t ask or do this kind of thing but at this point I’m my journey we have no choice anything that you can donate will be very helpful and appreciated even if it’s just prayers.
